At BDC Occupational therapist aim at promoting independence and wellbeing by empowering and enabling people to participate in the everyday occupations of life. Physiotherapy

At BDC physiotherapy can be beneficial intervention for participants with a range of conditions including physical disabilities, stroke, brain injury, cerebral palsy and neurological disorders. Physiotherapy can be helpful for managing pain and improving mobility as well as supporting participation in sports and recreation activities. Physiotherapists are often part of an early intervention team to help people recover with injuries sustained from surgery, illness, ageing or disability. Our experienced Physiotherapists can help participants to become more independent and maximise functioning of joints and muscles .They use various techniques and treatment that can include:

Speech Pathology

At BDC speech pathologist conduct assessment, evaluation and treatment of participants with speech and language impairments. They also evaluate and treat swallowing problems, impaired cognition, and hearing problems. For participant who are unable to communicate through speech, speech pathologist teach participants alternative methods of communication, like using pictures or symbols hand gestures ,sign language or talking computers to let others know what they want or need.

Our experienced speech pathologist focuses on our participant’s verbal and written expressions, auditory processing skills auditory and reading comprehension levels, attention spans, memories and problem solving and organization skills.

Our speech pathologists also specializes on oral and pharyngeal swallowing disorders and in swallowing rehabilitation.
